Chakra 7 - Sahasrara
Sahasrara is the seventh, or crown chakra. The Sanskrit name means "a thousand petals". The Sahasrara chakra is the seat of Parama Hamsah, or the supreme self. This chakra is different than all of the others because it is the realm of Ultimate Truth, Ultimate Reality, and Pure Consciousness.
The physical location of the seventh chakra is the crown or top of the head. The color of this chakra is indigo; the color of cosmic awareness. It is known as an antiseptic color that can soothe pain and relieve tension in the body. Violet acts as a shield against negativity and is a protective color for those seeking spirituality.
The crown chakra connects us with our divinity and opens when we have attained psychological maturity and spiritual development. This chakra is associated with thought.
I have found 2 different versions of the symbol for this chakra. Both are shown below, the first image is a thousand-petaled lotus, and the second is a golden and indigo skullcap surrounded by a crown of lotus petals.
