Aromatherapy draws information from science and from the arts. The science of Aromatherapy includes anatomy and physiology, chemistry, and botany. From a more artistic point of view, we consider aromatic blending, the plant parts and their energy, our own intuition, creativity, connection to the plant world, aroma and natural medicine.
Aromatherapists are able to blend science with intuition as they create therapeutic products that positively stimulate the senses. One of the great benefits of Aromatherapy is the fact that it is “great-smelling medicine.” But feeling good, nurtured and happy by the aromas in our lives is due to more than “just a good feeling.” Science is now validating our innate understanding that feeling good, immunity, and good health are deeply connected.
